In the talk, Jeremy will give an overview of data science on customer acquisition from marketing channels. He will talk about strategies and tactics to improve marketing efficiency. To acquire new customers, Jeremy will use conversion-based bidding and value-based bidding as case studies. In addition to marketing concepts, statistical methods are the key to the success of marketing strategies so the presentation will cover commonly used data science techniques in marketing, such as optimization, prediction, testing, and measurements. Jeremy will also share experience in collaborating with marketing teams from both online and offline channels.

Jeremy Gu – Data Science Manager | Stitch Fix

Jeremy leads the data science team on the channel optimization at Stitch Fix. The team works on optimizing marketing performance and driving higher lifetime value of acquisition channels such as Facebook, Google search, OTT, and display ads. Previously, Jeremy worked as a data science manager at Uber and an applied scientist at Amazon. Jeremy holds MS in Statistics from the University of Washington, Seattle.
