Salla Franzen is the Data & Analytics Manager for the Customer Domain in IKEA Retail (Ingka Digital). Before joining IKEA she was the Group Chief Data Scientist at SEB, inspiring the bank to become more data driven by introducing data analytics and AI. Salla has 12 years’ experience in working with data driven methods in financial services and has been involved in academic collaborations around AI in the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous systems and Software Program. She led the industry workstream of the AI Agenda for Sweden. She has a PhD in mathematics and was voted the Data Science Professional of the Year in the Nordics 2021.
Alberto Barroso – Global Head of Decision Science | Tetra Pak
I am a father, husband, scientist and Decision Scientist professional. With 18 years of international experience in decision science and management consulting at global companies and in a wide number of industries. I’ve strong analytical predictive and optimization skills, and extensive knowledge of business (supply chain, marketing & sales, HR, revenue, and asset management and finance). I passionate promote the use of science to improve decision making. Using facts together with the understanding of our cognitive biases is the best way to maximize our decisions performance. Currently I’m Global Head of Decision Science at Tetra Pak (based in Sweden). I’m responsible of the Data Scientist team focused on identifying new decision challenges opportunities, developing, and deploying proven value added, but more importantly sustaining it along the time. Also, I’m an Environmental Economist Researcher (PhD) with published peer to peer reviewed articles. With the objective of spreading this research I co-founded Steady State Analytics and NarrativeAI.
Kjell Carlsson – Head of Data Science Strategy & Evangelism | Domino Data Lab
Dr. Kjell Carlsson is the head of data science strategy and evangelism at Domino Data Lab where he advises organizations on how to drive business outcomes with artificial intelligence (AI) and data science. Previously, he covered AI, ML, and data science as a Principal Analyst at Forrester Research where he wrote reports on topics ranging from computer vision, MLOps, AutoML, and conversation intelligence to augmented intelligence, next-generation AI technologies, and data science best practices. He has spoken in countless keynotes, panels, and webinars, and is frequently quoted in the media. Carlsson received his Ph.D. in
Business Economics from the Harvard Business School.
