Errol Koolmeister – Head of AI Engineering | H&M Group

With 10+ years of experience from a wide variety of industries Errol have been able to reach an expert level in working with and extracting value from data. Both hands on in the data and from a strategic perspective by creating data products and leading large teams. He does so by leveraging, in the majority of the cases, open source technologies such as Spark, R, Python and Tensorflow with BI tools such as Shiny, Tableau and Qlik.

I am the Head of Analytics for Norway’s largest private asset manager – Storebrand. I head up a team of 10 data scientists, engineers and analysts and aim at driving trust in, value creation through, and use of analytics in Storebrand.

In 2020 I was chosen as one of the top talents in technical leadership in Norway by E24!

I’m also a part-time PhD candidate at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. My research focusses on the interpretation of statistics and how it leads to belief-forming in humans and the implications for machine decision making?

Alberto Barroso – Global Head of Decision Science | Tetra Pak

I am a father, husband, and Data Scientist professional. With 16 years of international experience in management consulting at global companies and in a wide number of industries. I’ve strong analytical predictive and optimization skills, and extensive knowledge of business (supply chain, marketing & sales, HR, revenue, and asset management).

I passionate promote the use of science to improve decision making. Using facts together with the understanding of our cognitive biases is the best way to maximize our performance.
Currently I’m Global Head of Decision Science at Tetra Pak (based in Sweden). I’m responsible of a team of 20 Data Scientist focused on identifying new Data Science opportunities, developing, and deploying Empirical Value, but more importantly sustaining it along the time.

Fredrik Heintz – Associate Professor of Computer Science | Linköping University

Dr. Fredrik Heintz is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Linköping University, Sweden. His research focus is artificial intelligence especially Trustworthy AI and the intersection between knowledge representation and machine learning. He is the Director of the Graduate School for the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP), the coordinator of the TAILOR ICT-48 network of AI research excellence centers, the President of the Swedish AI Society, and a member of the former European Commission High-Level Expert Group on AI. He is also very active in education activities both at the university level and in promoting AI, computer science and computational thinking in primary, secondary and professional education. Fellow of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA).
